set in the French woodland with family and friends all adding a personal touch…
Surrounded by their friends and family in the stunning French countryside, Jess and Mike couldn’t have had a better day for their wedding! The cake was made by her mother, the flowers arranged by her aunt and friends cut and placed the ivy around the woodland with lights and freshly mown paths. This was a really intimate and special wedding with so many people adding to it.
With the boys getting ready in a separate location approximately 20 minutes from the woodland the bride and the maids were left with peace and quiet to deal with the important things like make-up and hair! It soon transpired that the boys were not getting ready but playing beer pong and swimming after some manly log chopping! Thankfully they all arrived on time 🙂
With such a fantastic atmosphere and so much attention given by all the family and friends the simple rustic French look was perfect! The real joy coming from having had so many people helping to prepare the venue.
With the space involved outside it was bright and sunny (even under the thick canopy of tree leaves) and moving freely around was easy. Bright colours and a clean finish was the order of the day for this wedding!
The weather remained perfect for the happy couple and using a sympathetically dressed gazebo to add to the intimacy, guests enjoyed an evening wedding breakfast. Candles lighting the paths and a mock up, natural photo booth was added too!
